School Visits

I give the following kinds of talks to secondary schools students:
- About my books, the inspiration behind them, how I went about writing them and getting them published.
- Becoming a writer (submitting manuscripts, getting an agent) and what
inspired me to write.
- On mental illness, in
particular teenage depression.
- Creative writing workshops
My talks last for approximately 30 mins,
followed by a 15 mins Q&A session and a 15 mins book signing
session.. My books are aimed at the 14+ age-range, and are unsuitable for children under 12.
I also talk to librarians and educators and all adults interested in teenage fiction. For more information, please contact me. |
