I LOVE receiving emails from my readers so please send me a message! I always email back although sometimes I get quite busy so you may have to be patient. You can ask me any questions you want. It would be helpful if you could state your first name, age, the area you live in, and how you came across my books.

In particular, I am interested in what you thought of my book(s), which bits you liked and which bits you didn't, which book you preferred and why and what kinds of stories you think I should write next.

I am also interested to know whether you have ever felt like Flynn or Raven. Do you identify with either of them in any way? Have you ever suffered from depression or bipolar disorder or another mental health problem - or known someone who has? My two sisters, one of my brothers and I have all suffered from a mental illness at one time or another. Sometimes it's just about feeling fed-up a lot of the time. Other times it's about not wanting to be alive anymore. Often it's something between the two . . .  I look forward to hearing from you!

Please note: I have recently been receiving masses and masses of lovely emails from readers asking if there will be a third book to follow A Note of Madness and A Voice in the Distance. Sadly, at the present time, my publishers Random House have no plans to release a third book in the series. Although the previous two books have done well, sales would have to be very high indeed for them to take that gamble in the present financial climate, as trilogies are notoriously hard to sell. I had always intended to write a third and final book - in fact I have the story all planned out. I will put a notice on my website if the situation changes, but at the moment I'm very disappointed to tell you that there is no third book scheduled - which is a real shame as I feel there is a lot of unfinished business between Flynn and Jennah!

If you feel strongly about this, you can help me by spreading the word and recommending those two books to as many of your friends as possible! Encourage them to buy them rather than borrow them, ask your school, college and local libraries to order copies in, buy copies as presents . . . ! If everyone who wants a third book does their bit to help, it could well push sales high enough for my publishers to agree to a third. In the meantime, I'll be keeping my fingers crossed and thank you for being so enthusiastic!
